Kate Rosgen

Hi, I'm Kate. My greatest passion is helping others find healing, peace and strength–especially when life presents its hardest challenges.

My journey began in nursing, where I worked across many specialities alongside incredible medical teams. While those experiences gave me a wealth of knowledge, it was my time with cancer patients–and later, with family members–that shaped the heart of my work today.

Cancer became personal when I walked alongside my father and aunt in their battles with the illness. I witnessed firsthand the fear, exhaustion, and grief that comes with diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care. Sitting with them for long hours, I wished deeply for ways to ease their journey–beyond medication, beyond procedures. I wanted to help not only the body, but also the mind and spirit.

Out of that wish, my path evolved into psychotherapy, counselling, clinical hypnosis, and meditation. These practices allow me to support clients and families at every stage of the cancer experience–whether newly diagnosis, in treatment, in remission, navigating the complexities of survivorship and recovery, or the friend, family member or nursing staff.

I created the Health Through Cancer program to address the unique emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of individuals and their loved ones. My goal is to help clients release fear, reduce stress, and find comfort and empowerment–so they can reclaim a sense of calm and possibility in the midst of uncertainty.

Every person’s story is unique, but one truth remains: you don’t have to walk this path alone. With compassion, experience, and evidence-based approaches, I am here to guide and support you in creating a more peaceful, resilient, and meaningful way of life.
